Event video and aftermovies in San Sebastián

An event lasts a few hours; its video works all year. The aftermovie is the proof it was worth it: the piece you use to sell the next edition, bring sponsors on board and give every guest something to share. At Mist Productions we shoot event video in San Sebastián and Gipuzkoa with that use in mind from the first frame.

We cover conferences, company days, product launches, openings, trade shows and brand activations, with one or two camera operators depending on the size. We know how to be there without being in the way: the event is the star; we are the ones who tell its story. Behind every shoot are two partners, Herman Korkos on creative direction and Dmytro "Dima" Hrabchuk as director of photography.

You get a same-day express highlight for social media and the full aftermovie afterwards, edited in-house and delivered in Spanish, Basque or English. We work in San Sebastián, Irun, Errenteria and across Gipuzkoa, also in Bilbao, Navarre and the French Basque Country, and we travel to the rest of Spain when the event calls for it. Write to us: we usually reply within a few hours, almost always the same day.

Who this service is for

Conference and event organisers

If you run a conference, an industry congress or a sector meet-up in San Sebastián or Bilbao, the aftermovie is what you show speakers, sponsors and future attendees when the next edition opens. We cover talks, breaks and networking without interrupting the programme.

Companies with internal events and launches

Team conventions, anniversaries, product launches and openings. The video works internally, so anyone who missed it still feels part of it, and externally, to show the company's culture on LinkedIn and on your website with material of your own.

Brands with trade shows, activations and campaigns

A stand at a trade show, a street activation or a commercial event gives you material for a whole brand campaign: aftermovie, reels for social media and short cuts for ads. We plan it with you so nothing goes unrecorded.

Institutions, festivals and cultural events

Town councils, associations and festivals in Gipuzkoa that need to show the event to those who fund it and keep a record of every edition. We film in Spanish, Basque or English, with a drone when it fits, and deliver ready for web and social media.

What we deliver

How we work

  1. Tell us about the event Write to us on WhatsApp or through the form and we usually reply within a few hours, almost always the same day. We talk about the date, the venue, the programme and what the video is for: selling the next edition, winning over sponsors or feeding social media. With that we send you a quote with no obligation, and lock in the date.
  2. We prepare the coverage Before the day we go through the programme with you and mark the moments that won't repeat: the opening, the keynote, the awards. We decide how many operators are needed, whether a drone comes in, which interviews we want and in which language. If needed, we visit the venue beforehand to check light and sound.
  3. We film the event We arrive before the doors open, with cameras, sound and, when it fits, a drone with a licensed operator. Dima directs the image; Herman follows the programme and decides what to tell. We move without getting in the way of speakers or guests and, if you've asked for the express highlight, we edit it right there.
  4. We edit and deliver The express highlight goes out that same day. The full aftermovie is edited calmly over the following days: selection, pace, licensed music, titles and colour. You receive it in your private portal with a link, in horizontal and vertical, and you can share the link with your team or your sponsors.

Frequently asked questions

Can you deliver a highlight of the event the same day?

Yes. The express highlight, 60 to 90 seconds long, is edited during the event itself and delivered that same day, so you can publish it on Instagram, LinkedIn or TikTok while the conversation is still warm. To make it happen, one of us edits on the go while the other keeps filming. The full aftermovie follows over the next few days, with the time and care it deserves.

How many camera operators do we need to film an event?

It depends on the size and the programme. A single-room event is well covered by one operator; a conference with parallel rooms, a gala with moments that won't repeat, or an event with a same-day express highlight calls for two. We study it with the programme in front of us and tell you straight when we quote, without adding people you don't need.

How long is an aftermovie and when is it delivered?

An aftermovie usually runs between one and three minutes: long enough to capture the story of the event, short enough to be watched all the way through on social media. The delivery date is agreed when we quote, depending on the length and the amount of footage, and it is put in writing. If you have a set date, say the opening of registrations for the next edition, we organise the edit to make it on time.

Do you shoot event video with a drone in San Sebastián and Bilbao?

Yes, with a licensed operator and as long as the venue and regulations allow it: in San Sebastián and Bilbao there are areas with flight restrictions, and indoors or with the crowd very close it isn't always possible. We check it when preparing the coverage and tell you in advance whether it's in. When it is, aerial shots place the event in its surroundings and open the aftermovie with real impact.

Do you film interviews with speakers and guests in Basque or English?

Yes. We film and deliver in Spanish, Basque and English, so at a conference with international speakers or an institutional event in Basque, interviews are done in each person's language, and the titles and subtitles of the aftermovie come in the language or languages you need. If you want one version per language for social media, we plan it from the start.

How much does it cost to film an event?

It depends on how long the event lasts, how many camera operators it takes to cover it and which pieces you want afterwards: a quick highlight for social media on the same day, an aftermovie, interviews with speakers and guests, or photography by the same team. The drone, if the venue allows it, languages and travel if the event is outside Gipuzkoa also count. Tell us the date, the venue and what you need, and we will prepare a tailored quote, with no commitment. We usually reply within a few hours, almost always the same day.

How is the video delivered and what can I do with it?

You receive it in a private online portal with a link: you watch the video, download it in high quality and share the link with your team, your sponsors or your agency, with no transfers that expire. We deliver the aftermovie in horizontal for web and YouTube and in vertical for Instagram and TikTok, and you can use it in the communication of your event and your brand: website, social media, press and sponsor presentations.

Where we work

We are based in San Sebastián and regularly cover events in Irun, Errenteria and across Gipuzkoa; also in Bilbao, Navarre and the French Basque Country, and we travel to the rest of Spain when the event calls for it. We adapt to the venues that are typical here — conference centres, hotels, company headquarters or gastronomic societies — and set up light and sound according to what each one needs. If your audience speaks Spanish, Basque or English, the interviews, the titles and the delivery come in the language you need.

Shall we talk about your event?

Tell us what event you're organising, when, and what you want the video for. We usually reply within a few hours, almost always the same day, and the quote comes with no obligation. You can also watch recent aftermovies in the portfolio and read on Google what people who have already worked with us say.
